Lust by Gorilla Perfume

Sexy, sultry and sophisticated.

Lust from Gorilla Perfume is a strong, seductive fragrance, most definitely one for the evening. When you first smell it then it may seem a little overwhelming, but give it time and it will gently develop into a smooth, sexy scent; one that envelops you in a layer of sultry sophistication. Whilst the smell is undeniably feminine, it’s also incredibly sensual. It’s sweet, yet musky; pretty, yet naughty, and deeply mysterious. If you want a perfume to complete your sexy evening look then this is undoubtedly the one to go for.

The main notes of this fragrance are jasmine, ylang ylang, rose, vanilla and sandalwood, with jasmine being the strongest of them all. Despite the large quantity of flower-derived essential oils, Lust isn’t an overwhelmingly flowery perfume; the sandalwood brings it back from the edge of being sickly sweet, and provides deep warmth to the scent.

Jasmine is the greatest aphrodisiac of all, which explains why you’ll be left feeling provocative and libidinous with just one spritz. For me, Lust arouses memories of long nights drinking wine and chatting about everything and anything. And then as the evening draws to a close, kissing, touching, and…

My one word to sum this perfume up? Sex. Sensual, primal, lustful sex.

  1. Great description of this scent. I’ll definitely give it a try after reading your review since I love both jasmine and sandalwood. And since you made me a little hot under the collar reading about it, I’m very curious 😉

    1. Thank you – if you’re a fan of jasmine then you’re certain to like Lust. Have you tried ‘Flying Fox’ shower gel by Lush? It’s a jasmine and honey gel that complements this perfume wonderfully! Yes, it’s one of our more passionate reviews…!

  2. Goodness gracious… you have The Dandy all hot under the collar.
I’m a mighty big fan of the Gorilla outfit, so will be sure to give this one my full attention soon.
Jasmine – always associated with feminine perfumery, but you know it rather takes this gent’s fancy too!
    Yours ever
    The Perfumed Dandy
